Walk-in showers

Low-threshold entry, full-height walls, and a drain that actually drains. The most requested change we make — and the one that most often gets done badly.

Low-threshold shower base against veined marble-look wall panels

Marble-look surround, frameless glass

What’s included

Everything, in one contract.

One license, one crew, one supervisor. No subcontractor hand-offs you have to manage.

01

Demolition & haul-away

Old tub or pan out, debris off site the same day. Floors and hallways protected before anything moves.

02

Base & waterproofing

Sloped base, bonded membrane, and a flood test before a single tile goes on. This is where cheap jobs fail.

03

Walls & glass

Full-height surround, niche set into blocking, and glass measured after the walls are true — not before.

04

Fixtures & punch

Valve, head, door hardware, seal and caulk. Then a walkthrough with you before we call it done.

Configurations

Three ways this usually goes.

Alcove replacement
Alcove replacementSame footprint as the tub it replaces — the shortest schedule and the lowest cost.
Bench & frameless glass
Bench & frameless glassA wider opening, a built-in seat, and glass instead of a curtain track.
Zero-threshold, accessible
Zero-threshold, accessibleFlush entry, folding seat, grab bars into blocking. Reads as a bathroom, not a ward.

How it goes

Three steps. No surprises.

  1. 01

    Consultation

We measure the room, listen to how you use it, and say plainly whether we’re the right fit. No deposit to get this far.

  2. 02

    Scope & price in writing

Itemized materials and labor, and a dated schedule. You keep it, compare it, and decide on your own time.

  3. 03

    Installation & handover

One crew, one project manager, a daily update, and a walkthrough at the end. Then we stay reachable.

about this work.

All FAQs

It depends almost entirely on whether anything moves. An alcove replacement in the same footprint is the shortest job we do. A zero-threshold conversion is the longest, because the subfloor has to be opened to drop the drain. Whatever the number is, it goes in writing before you commit, and you get a daily update once we start.

Yes. Every permit the job requires gets pulled, posted on site, and closed out at the end — that last part is the one people get burned on, because an open permit surfaces years later when the house sells. 09 Bath works under 09 Build’s Florida Certified General Contractor license.

For a tub-to-shower conversion in the same footprint, usually not — the existing drain and valve location can carry the new shower, which is what keeps that job short. Moving a fixture means opening the floor or a wall, which changes both the schedule and the price. We tell you which one applies at the measure.

It covers our labor — the way the work was executed — for as long as you own the home. Manufacturer warranties on the products themselves are separate and come from the manufacturer. The exclusions and claim process need to be on a terms page you can read before you sign, and that page does not exist yet.
